Arsene Wenger bought 19-year old boy from Montenegro

Stefan Savic,standard player of U-21 national team of Montenegro passed the ten-day test at Emirates and will probably sign a contract with Arsenal. Transfer is worth about 2.5 million euros.

Defender of Belgrade club BSK Borca during the trial satisfied strict taste of Arsene Wenger and now the only that must be agreed between teams is to agree about compensation. According to unofficial information, the value of the entire business revolves around two million and 560 thousand euros.

Gunners' coach was determined to bring the Montenegrian stopper in London, especially after Manchester United bought Chris Smallinga from Fulham just before Arsenal.

Stefan Savic wnted with all his heart to be under Wenger's direction, and he turned down the offer from Arsenal's city rivals,Tottenham,and came to Emirates.

Pre-contract should be signed on Thursday (February 4th), and then Stefan will be back to his club BSK Borca which is competing in the Serbian Superliga.

"I had offers from Birmingham City and Tottenham, but when the call came from Arsenal, I had no doubt. Arsene Wenger took care of my documents and arranged my work permit extension to finish few more trainings. Pre-contract will be signed on Thursday, and then I go back to Belgrade in my club Borca, where I will stay until May. Then - London route, "said 19-year-old boy from Mojkovac, a town in north of Montenegro.
