Chicago Blackhawks are chasing Sharks on the West.

This is the second meeting between these teams this season.Phoneix Coyotes won the first match 3-1 at Jobing.com Arena.

Chicago Blackhawks lost their last two matches. The first one was away,against Carolina Hurricanes,and they lost 2-4.Next match was played in Chicago,and St.Louis celebrated 3-2 win while Backes scored two goals.Still, coach Joel Quenneville would no doubt like to fix whatever is ailing his team quickly so the Blackhawks can make a run at the No. 1 seed. Chicago clinched the season series with the West-leading Sharks on its recent road swing and stands a good chance at nabbing the top spot.

Phoneix Coyotes are on a 5 game winning run.They have beaten Detroit Red Wings 5-4 away in the overtime,Calgary Flames 3-2 at home in a shootout,New York Rangers 3-2 at home,Dallas Stars away 4-2,and Nashville Predators 1-0 in a shootout,away too.

They will be without Scottie Upshall tonight,while Hawks are without a goalie Antti Niemi, who will be ready for next Friday.
