Ovechkin in club 500, brilliant Kopitar

Great Swedish center,from Washington Capitals, a 22-year-old Nicklas Bäckström, scored his 24th goal in the sixth minute of a third period for away 6-5 victory of his team at Madison Square Garden in New York against Rangers.It was the fifth point of the Swedish(he previously had 4 assists).

His teammate from the Caps' first attacking line,Russian Alex Ovechkin,recorded two goals and the assist and managed to get 500 points in NHL.He is the fifth player in the history of NHL who did it in first five season(and he did it in only 373 games!).This was 12. Caps' win in a row,which is their club record.

Ottawa Senators broken the club record too.With 3-1 home win against Vancouver Canucks they made it 11 in a row.

Boston Bruins are cold,they lost again against Montreal Canadiens 2-3 in the overtime at home.That was their 9.loss in a row(8 of 9 losses are at home!!!).

In Californian derby at Staples Center in Los Angeles,Kings beaten their rivals Anaheim Ducks 6-4,and Slovenian Anze Kopitar had two goals and two assists.
